2 years later… Poetry (addendum):

…and then there was Him,

who (thank God) would turn out to be the fourth and final hymn.

His big lesson would teach me that sleep is a total façade;

showing us that what we knew of parenting was utterly flawed.

But this one is special; he is a daddy’s boy,

He gives his mom Hell, and, most of the time, greets me with joy.

He is a cute little boy, who has a bright smile that can light up a room,

Damn I feel bad for Heather, she is totally doomed.

Because a lot of little girls will be in line just outside the door,

because he is just like his daddy, a legend with the women, in lore.
